Pastor Emmanuel Asse was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and at the age of 11, migrated to the United States in 1985. He attended and graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in the Bronx. Upon graduation, Rev. Emmanuel matriculated at Nyack College.
Pastor Emmanuel admits that, growing up, he was often told by family members and others who knew him, “You’re going to be a preacher.” Initially aspiring to a career as a police officer, he joined the NYC Police Department and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration. However, always a praying person, he soon rededicated his life to the Lord when, during one of his praying moments, a voice told him to “Accept your calling!”
Thereafter, he sought admission and was enrolled at Mount Olive Bible Institute Theological Seminary in Brooklyn in 2009. He graduated four years later with a Bachelor’s in Theology and was ordained as a pastor in August 2008 at Solution International Outreach Ministries. My mother told me that when she was carrying me, she had a dream. In her dream, the Angel told her to name me Emmanuel, and God would anoint me to be a pastor in my family. When I was born, she did what the Angel instructed her to do. She named me Emmanuel, and that dream was fulfilled in 2008. A courageous missionary to all nations and an Ambassador of Christ, Pastor Emmanuel’s work has not gone unnoticed. Civic and religious leaders have called on him to perform a myriad of duties. On September 23, 2023, Pastor Emmanuel was nominated by Dr. Andrise Bass, Founder of the Institute of Public Policy and Diplomacy Research, as Global Peace Ambassador and International Human Rights Ambassador. In 2017, Nassau County Comptroller Hon. George Margos appointed him to the position of Director of Communications and Public Relations in the Office of the Comptroller.
Pastor Emmanuel boasts a rich professional background, having previously served as a Housing Case Manager and Food Stamp Specialist for the Harlem Congregation for Community Improvement. He was the former Senior Pastor of the Haitian Creole Ministry at The Greater Springfield Community Church in Queens, N.Y. Prior to this role, Pastor Emmanuel contributed significantly as the Pastor of Public Engagement at Gateway Christian Center in Valley Stream, N.Y., for 10 years. Through his multifaceted efforts, Pastor Emmanuel embodies a commitment to both spiritual leadership and community enrichment. He was the first Haitian-American in the county to hold such a high-profile position. Prior to his appointment, Rev. Emmanuel was named Chairperson for the West Nassau Chapter of Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network in March 2014 by Rev. Dr. Phil Craig. On July 6, 2021, Pastor Emmanuel was nominated by Honorable Fran Becker, former Nassau County Legislator, as the Executive Director of the Lincoln-King Martin Luther King, Jr. Republican Center and the Lincoln-King nonprofit organization. Pastor Emmanuel was nominated on January 7, 2022, by the County Executive Bruce Blakeman Administration. The Executive Office is the highest office in Nassau County government. Pastor Emmanuel currently serves as the Director of Community Relations for the Home Health Aide Training Institute in Westbury, Long Island, NY. He is a former Community Liaison for Rockaway Home Care and former Director of Community Relations for Reliance Home Care. He is the current Director of Public Engagement for the International Human Rights Commission Relief Fund Trust, an organization that works alongside the United Nations and is affiliated with over 42 countries around the world.

Since then, he has championed several initiatives, hosted, and co-sponsored over two high-level events at the United Nations. Fare, Nassau County Police Commissioner Thomas Krumpter, New York State Judges, and U.S. Congressman Gregory Meeks at the Gateway Christian Center in Valley Stream. He also co-sponsored former N.Y.S Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s initiative on Raising the Minimum Wages. CloseMaria Santiago
Throughout all the years I studied, I also worked providing care for the elderly; and I adored it. I felt a true connection caring for each individual person with their own life stories that shaped their autonomy. Despite my passion in broadcasting, I couldn’t ignore this calling, which quickly became my life’s calling; caring for the wellbeing of seniors.
Ironically enough, my academic career wasn’t originally rooted in healthcare. After my departure from Trinidad to the United States, my educational pursuits led me to Hostos Community College in the Bronx, as well as Lehman College for television production and directing and finally, the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
I balanced both my passion and my life’s calling, working my way up from administrator to now, being a CEO of my own Home Health Aide Training Institute, N.Y, training future healthcare workers and finding them employment where they too may experience the fulfillment that comes with caring for another. My philanthropic endeavors led me to serve families in countries like Ghana, Nigeria, and Trinidad, providing meals for those in need. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I hosted celebrations recognizing essential workers by granting them over $100,000 in scholarships and life insurance policies.
With every training program I oversee, each job placement fulfilled, and every recognition I’m blessed to receive, my goal is to increase the awareness of exemplary healthcare practices for seniors in need. There is a divine plan for all of us and by acknowledging and understanding challenges seniors endure, we can provide better care, profoundly improving the lives of those in the community, as well as those we love.

ClosePastor Geraldine Felix
Pastor Geraldine Felix born in 1962 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, was drawn to God from a young age. At just 9 years old, she would ascend the mountains to pray. By God's sovereignty, she was able to come to America at the age of 13 in 1977. Living the complex life of a young immigrant in America, she pursued her education, attending Andres Huddie Middle School, Midwood High School, and CUNY City College. However, the highlight of her youth was the divine encounter she had at a prayer meeting in 1982, where she surrendered her all and responded to the call of salvation.
Full of earnest endeavor, Pastor Geraldine soon began evangelizing in the streets of Brooklyn, NY—on public buses and trains—and served at Remsen Church of God. Later, she moved to Boston, where she earned a degree from the School of Architecture.
While in New Hampshire, she sensed a spiritual void in the area. Led by God, she started a prayer group, which later grew into a church after she married her husband, Rev. Joseph N. Felix. They met at a wedding and tied the knot themselves at the end of that same year. Married in 1993, they were blessed with three children: Kestia, Daniella, and Benjamin. After having their first child in Manchester, the couple moved back to Brooklyn and established a new church, initially located on Snyder Avenue and Church Avenue. The church moved to its current location on Flatbush Avenue in 1998. She has since been serving in ministry side by side with her husband as a First Lady for over 25 years. In 2022, she earned a degree in theology at MKI University.
In celebration of her 60th birthday at the El Caribe in Brooklyn, she was ordained as a pastor by her husband, Pastor Joseph N. Felix. Throughout her ministerial career, she has been referred to as a Prayer Warrior for her almost literal application of "pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17). She has also participated in numerous missions throughout the United States, including Boston, as well as internationally in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
